This Privacy Notice (together with our Data Protection Policy) sets out how Estudio Lizardi Saucedo ("Lizardi Saucedo", "we", "us", "LS", "ELS") and any future affiliates or subsidiaries, uses personal data relating to Suppliers, Customers, Collectors and Contacts ("visitor", "users", "you"). LS Studio is a data controller for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Estudio Lizardi Saucedo acts as data processor for limited information passed from third-party associate Services and Galleries. The Sales Agreement made between these Galleries and individual Collectors outlines the type of data transferred and the purposes for its transferral. LS never acts as data processor within the payments process.

Lizardi Saucedo upholds the rights of the data subject to information, access, rectification, erasure, the restriction of processing, data portability, the right to withdraw consent, to lodge a complaint, and to object to automated decision making and profiling.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We may collect and process the following data about you:

Examples of Personal Data include name, email address, mobile-phone number and other cases; billing information, mailing address.

Once we have received your information, we will store it in electronic and/or physical records maintained by us and will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. We cannot therefore guarantee the security of data you transmit to us by eMail.

For some artwork, may include portrait photograph as a facial identity, also considered as a Personal Data. 

Transactional information relating to the development of a particular work, exhibition or project may be held in the Studio's archive. The Studio may, at its own discretion grant partial access to these archives to Academics and Researchers. Such Academics and Researchers would be supervised and given restricted access to transactional or anonymised data that relates directly to a work, performance, project or exhibition.

Sometimes the profiles and users of social networks can also be considered personal data.

We may use information we hold about you for the following purposes:

• for administration and accounting;

• for identification and verification;

• to provide you with information that you have requested from us;

• to respond to queries raised by you;

• to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us;

• to ensure compliance with our Data Protection Policy;

• to comply with legal obligations, or for the protection and enforcement of legal rights;

• in connection with any sale of our business or assets; and

• for archiving, or records of provenance.

Lizardi Saucedo may send a limited number of eMail and postal communications updating a select number of individuals who have expressed a desire to receive notifications of events, exhibitions, performances and publications that may be of interest to them. If, as a recipient of such communications or information from the Studio, you no longer wish to receive information from us, you may notify us at any time in writing to the email address shown.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

We only collect the Personal Data that you filled out from each forms. Cookies

We use Google Analytics to measure and evaluate access to and traffic on the Public Area of our website. Google operates independently from us and has its own privacy policy, which we strongly suggest you review. Data Sharing

The data collected will be used only on a need-to-know basis to resolve technical issues, administer the Site, and identify visitor preferences, but in these cases, the data will be in non-identifiable form. We do not use any of this information to identify Visitors, or Users. []

Who we share your data with

For “shipping and handling” needs we share some operational information to the courier services supplier and we do with the best practices together with the proper compliance courier policies. For "charges and payments" needs we share some payment information to the transaction services provider that only acts as a processor and never as a collector or controller. With vendors, consultants and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf. With your consent or at your direction, including if we notify you through our Services that the information you provide will be shared in a particular manner and you provide such information.

Some Information is Necessary to Complete a Donation. If you donate within the portal, some of your personal information is required in order to process your payment. The system (donorbox.org/privacy) collects at least; your name, email address, and payment information. This information is used to fulfill your order and notify you about your donation. Thanks in advance if any. 

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We retain only the Personal Data collected from a User for as long as otherwise for a limited period of time, as long as we need it to fulfill the purposes for which we have initially collected it, unless otherwise required by law. 

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
